PROMATION offers several types of solutions for robotic soldering.

TABLE TOP HOT IRON

The TT Series is a ”feature rich”  table top Hot Iron system that is designed for batch process soldering where quality and repeatability are critical. This series includes all of the necessary features for easy process set-up (intuitive control pendant, process viewing camera, simulation verification mode, and USB program storage/transfer), as well as a generous soldering area (TT-400 365 mm x 400 mm) and (TT-300 265 mm x 300 mm), dual tip cleaning station (sponge and air blow off), high speed precision gantry, 150 watt power supply with thermal feedback loop, auto solder feeder, and 64 bit microprocessor with 100 program storage capability on-board.

An optional fixture grind with PCB holders is also available for quick proto-typing set-up, sample runs, and even production.

CUSTOM and DIODE LASER

PROFLEX is PROMATION’s latest innovative design for selective laser soldering. This windows based control platform offers a high precision XYZ gantry, generous soldering areas, and comprehensive graphic user interface.

PROFLEX is also scalable. Our design allows us to scale the gantry as small as 8 inches, or as great as 8 feet, to meet most soldering application requirements. The 70 lb. capable gantry also allows for multiple tooling to be attached to the end effector, allowing a single head to perform multiple functions or; add more heads to a single gantry to increase output, place paste and then solder, preheat (hot air) and then solder, and more.

Configurations available are: table top, rotary table, dual slide shuttle, in-line conveyor, hover over top of a Bosch conveyor, and more.
