PROMATION offers a variety of selective soldering solutions for Tin Lead and LEAD FREE operations.

Our PRO 1T and PRO 3T series provide single and dual iron tipped top side soldering solutions. These robots are available in table top, rotary table, and in-line conveyor configurations.

Our new PRO 6t  AND PROMATION's PRO 8b system has been awarded the BEST NEW TECHNOLOGY in the Reflow Category by APA (at SEMICON) in 2004 and 2005.

Here are a few of the reasons why:

1) Ability to change from Tin Lead solder to Lead Free solder within 5 minutes.
2) Ability to change programs/products within 2 minutes (for repeat processes)
3) Ability to target and selective solder a varying range of pads (PRO 8b varies beam from .7 mm up to 2.5 mm) on a Pin to Pin basis.
4) Ability to perform editing of the soldering process during set up
5) Enables a highly repeatable process with fiducial recognition and dynamic compensation (selectable by product of multiple products within a carrier)
6) Ability to selective solder around difficult components, components with close proximity, and PCBs already in housings.

The system uses flux core solder wire and performs well with no clean, tine lead and lead free wires.
